Who We Are
Tutoring Barcelona (TB) is a group of like minded educators who believe learning should be easily accessible and engaging.
Our learning space in the center of Barcelona provides small group and personalized tutoring to students studying in English or students who would like to learn in English. We provide small group classes in math, English (native level) and science in classrooms that are specifically designed to maximize the learning potential of our students. We also offer private one to one classes via an interactive online classroom system for students looking for extra assistance, or living outside of Barcelona. Your goals are our goals and we work with your family to achieve results.
TB was started by Hannah Grech, an Australian teacher who relocated to Barcelona three years ago. Hannah worked in schools in Australia, before relocating to Spain. During her time in Barcelona, Hannah has worked with families providing full time home schooling, tutoring students in Barcelona after school and working with her online clients in Australia, England and Singapore. Hannah's passion is to deliver learning in a way that engages her students and shows them how they can apply what they are learning in the 'real world.' She is particularly passionate about engaging students in mathematics and working through the 'math anxiety' that many of our students experience.
Hannah understands the value of tutors who not only build knowledge, but build confidence. With confidence and self belief, our children really can achieve anything and we select tutors who fulfil both of these necessities.

What We Do
Tutoring Barcelona provides effective and engaging tuition for students from grade 2, to the final year of school.
We cater for students attending international schools and seeking support in their studies and students who wish to improve/ maintain their English by studying at a native level. We assist with strengthening students' knowledge of grade level content, we provide extension class and assist with homework and studying. We also help students prepare for their school exams, entrance exams into private schools abroad, IB, GCSEs, A Levels and SATs. In addition, we also provide classes in skills we believe are essential for success in our 21st century world. We offer coding class as well as debating classes.
Our classes cater for learners studying the British and American Curriculums and our tutors are very familiar and experienced with the curriculum content.
We have an exceptional team of qualified teachers and experienced tutors who are passionate about working with students to improve their confidence and achieve results. Our tutors bring with them a wealth of classroom and tutoring experience from American, Australia and The United Kingdom. We have high expectations of all our learners and are focused on helping each individual achieve their potential.
Our tutors will send you a summary report after each block of eight classes to ensure you are kept updated and informed on your child's progress.
