Experience: Years of private tutoring and academic mentoring, including GCSE & A-Level support
Focus: High standards + warmth + learning that makes sense in real life
What’s your background in education?
I have a Bachelor of Management and a Master’s of Education, and I’ve spent years working closely with students in a way that’s both structured and caring — helping them build confidence, consistency, and strong results.
How did you end up here?
I moved here after a family I taught in Sydney asked if I would come tutor their children for three months. I said yes — and that short stay became six years of teaching their boys through GCSEs and A-Levels. We built a relationship that felt like family, and I never looked back.
Why did you become a teacher?
I’ve always loved working with young people and being their biggest supporter. Watching students discover their strengths and grow into confident individuals is genuinely rewarding. I believe every student can achieve their goals — especially when they’re surrounded by people who believe in them.
What’s your approach with students?
Parents often tell me they value three things:
Support: Students feel safe to ask questions and make mistakes
Structure: Clear goals, consistent routines, and progress tracking
Relevance: I connect learning to real life — so students never think, “Why do we need this?”
What do you love most about working with students and families?
The connection. I love getting to know students properly — how they learn, what motivates them, what stresses them — and building a supportive environment around them. I also love the multicultural community we have. It prepares students for the real world, not just exams.
A Message to Parents
Your child doesn’t need to be “perfect” to succeed — they need the right support system. My goal is to make sure students feel believed in, guided, and challenged in the right way, so they can grow into the strongest version of themselves — academically and personally.
