A word from Aletta
Hi families! My name is Aletta and I’m a certified English teacher with a scientific background from Germany. I really enjoy teaching because of its variety and the work with people in general. I think the school systems just doesn´t work for a lot of students and I love being part of the process and seeing when students suddenly start to understand, gain confidence and actually enjoy the field they struggled in before, as well as seeing them develop as a person over time. I have about 8 years of teaching experience in tutoring and teaching classes at the university, as well as teaching sports. When I relocated to Barcelona I decided to start teaching English as well. I would love to keep teaching Science and teaching online is a great way for me to do this. Except of work I love traveling, sports, climbing, adventures and being outdoors. In the lessons I try to challenge my students but make sure to give them all the support they need and stay within their pace. Also, I think it’s important to have a connection to my students as in that way they enjoy the classes much more. I try to create a comfortable atmosphere and make jokes instead of stultifying exercise collections. I’m excited to meet you in the classroom!
